Join the Assumptionists brothers this summer for a life-giving journey along the Camino de Santiago, walking from Saint Jean Pied de Port to Logrono. This unique pilgrimage offers not only the beauty of northern Spain’s landscapes, but also an opportunity to grow spiritually within a supportive, faith-filled community.
Whether you are seeking reflection, friendship, or a deeper relationship with God, each step brings purpose and peace. Come and experience the joy, simplicity, and renewal of the Camino alongside fellow pilgrims on this unforgettable journey.
Route: Saint Jean Pied de Port to Logroño (Spain)
Dates: 20–26 July 2026*
The main journey lasts 7 days starting on 20 July. For those who wish to walk longer, there is an option to extend to 10 walking days which will end up in Belorado - Spain. Please, choose one of the options more convenient for you.
Deposit: 50€* (covers group insurance and shared activities)
Daily Distance: Approximately 19–28 km
Age Group: 18–35
Accommodation: Hostels and guesthouses (€10–15 per night)
Meals: Many food options are available along the route. While we will stay together as a group, each person covers their own meals (approximately €10–15 per day). A shared fund for group essentials can also be arranged.
Activities: Daily Mass (English - French), Rosary, spiritual and friendly conversations, games, and visits to cultural and spiritual sites

Personal Health Insurance:
Each participant must have valid personal health and travel insurance covering the full duration of the pilgrimage in Spain. This should include medical care, emergency assistance, and, if possible, repatriation. -

Physical Readiness:
Participants should be in good physical condition and prepared to walk between 19–28 km per day over varied terrain. Prior walking or hiking experience is strongly recommended. -
Personal Responsibility:
Each pilgrim is responsible for their own belongings, travel arrangements, and daily expenses (meals, accommodation, and personal needs). -
Respect for Community Life:
As this is a shared spiritual journey, participants are expected to contribute positively to group life—respecting others, participating in common activities (such as prayer and discussions), and helping maintain a supportive atmosphere. -
Flexibility and Simplicity:
The pilgrimage involves simple living conditions and a flexible schedule. Participants should be open to adapting to changes and embracing the simplicity of the Camino experience. -
Documentation:
Participants must carry valid identification (passport or ID) and any necessary travel documents. -
Liability:
By joining the pilgrimage, participants acknowledge the inherent risks of long-distance walking and agree to take responsibility for their own health and safety throughout the journey.
Travel:
Participants are responsible for their own travel arrangements.
– Arrival: Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port on the afternoon of 19 July (departure on 20 July)
– For those travelling from the UK: fly to Bordeaux or Bayonne - France, then take a train to Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port
– Departure: From Logroño on 26 July; return travel via Bilbao the following day
For those who continue the way for 10 days to Belorado (29/07). The nearest airport is also Bilbao.
