Taizé community is an ecumenical monastic order with a strong devotion to peace and justice through prayer and meditation.
The Taizé European Meeting, the "Pilgrimage of trust on Earth," is an initiative by the ecumenical Taizé Community to encourage young people to build trust, peace, and reconciliation in the world through prayer, simple living, and community engagement. It will take place in Paris and throughout the Île-de-France region.
Invited by the Archbishop of Paris and local Churches of various denominations, thousands of young people from across Europe (aged 18 to 35) will gather for prayer, sharing, celebration, and friendship.

Activities:

Morning: Program in local churches throughout the region with sharing groups

Noon: Common prayers open to all in the city's major churches

Afternoon: Workshops (solidarity, ecology, culture, spirituality) in various locations around the city

Evening: Common prayer in the city centre, then return to host families

Fees:

Age 18-35: 110 €.

For participants or group leaders whose professional activity: 170 €
All participants are invited to make a contribution to the costs of the meeting. This contribution, the amount of which varies by country, makes possible a fair solidarity and helps to cover the event’s expenses, in particular meals, local public transport, the rental of certain venues and preparation costs. The exact proposed amount will be confirmed in November 2025.

If the number of participants exceeds the capacity of host families, collective accommodation may be offered in halls or schools.

Bring a sleeping bag and a small sleeping mat.

If you already have accommodation in the area, please let us know, and you can still come to the welcome point on your day of arrival to collect your programme and tickets.
